Landscape work shall not begin until all construction adjacent to the planting area has been completed and until the irrigation and sprinkler systems have been installed and approved by the owner or the owner's representative. D. All work, plants and materials shall conform to applicable City, County, and State laws. 2. WORK SHALL INCLUDE A. Soil preparation. B. Placement of topsoil in all planting areas as required. C. Furnishing of all plant material as specified. D. Installation of plant materials, trees, shrubs, vines, groundcovers. E. Staking of trees. F. Protection maintenance, and guarantee as specified. 3. WORK NOT INCLUDED A. Rough grade 4. PRODUCT DELIVERY A. Deliver fertilizer to site in original, unopened containers bearing manufacturer's guaranteed chemical analysis, name, trade name; trademark, and in conformance with State laws and soils test recommendations and specs. B. Deliver plants with legible identification labels. C. All trees, shrubs, and other plant material shall be labeled with botanical and common names. Do not pick up container plants by stems or trunks. 7. GUARANTEE A. Guarantee new trees through one (1) full year after plants are installed and the Owner has made his final acceptance. B. Guarantee shrubs through (1) full year per County of Riverside after plants are installed and the Owner has made his final acceptance. C. Replacement trees, 15 gal. and larger, shall be guaranteed for one (1) full year, from date of replacement installation. D. Plants shall be well formed and shaped, true to type, and free from disease, insects and defects such as knots, sunscald, windburn, broken branches and scarred bark. B. Plants shall be true to botanical and common name variety according to American Joint Committee on Horticulture Nomenclature. C. All plants shall be nursery grown and collected stock. D. All plants shall be grown under climatic conditions similar to those in locality of project. E. All plants shall be container grown stock and shall be established and in vigorous healthy condition and shall not be root -bound. F.
