RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No. 2014 -082, Accepting
a Portion Ruth Road in the Sage Area.
BACKGROUND:
Summary
The applicant for Parcel Map 35399 has been conditioned to provide primary and secondary access to
said Parcel Map. This portion of Ruth Road has been dedicated to the public but not accepted for public
use. This action will officially accept this portion of Ruth Road and provide access to said Parcel Map.

ACCEPTING A PORTION OF RUTH ROAD IN THE SAGE AREA
(Third Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Ruth Road was offered for
dedication for road and public utility purposes on the maps and documents hereinafter -
referred to, which said offers of dedication have not been previously accepted for public
use by the County of Riverside, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled
on .rune 17 , 2014, that this Board accepts said offers of dedication
and recognizes that this road is a public road open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this
acceptance is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the
public for public road and utility uses, and is not an acceptance of the road into the
County Maintained Road System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways
Code and that said road will not become part of the County Maintained Road System,
unless subsequently accepted into said Maintained Road System by a resolution adopted
by this Board;
Said road is in the County of Riverside, State of California, and described as
follows:

California, and as described in Declaration of Dedication, Recorded as Instrument No.
12990, Recorded January 31, 1975, Official Records of Riverside County, California,
excepting therefrom that portion accepted by Parcel Map 17623 filed in Book 116, Pages
86 and 87, records of Riverside County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that the Clerk of
the Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
