BACKGROUND: At the request of the property owners, this vacation of a portion of Benson Street and portions of Norbert Street and Rolling Meadows Drive, is requested so that the property owners can control access to Benson Street, thereby reducing their liability due to reckless drivers. The adjacent property owners along the roads have all been contacted, and have no objection to the vacation. Riverside County Fire, Flood Control, and Transportation have been contacted and also have no objection to the vacation. This vacation will not eliminate access to any parcels and the road is not required for traffic circulation.
