SUBJECT: Accepting Orange Street, a portion of Fairview Street (formerly known as Wilson
Street) and a portion of Lakeview Avenue (formerly known as Grandview Avenue) in the Lake
Elsinore area, District One / District One
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2012 -020, accepting Orange Street, a
portion of Fairview Street (formerly known as Wilson Street) and a portion of Lakeview Avenue
(formerly known as Grandview Avenue) in the Lake Elsinore Area.
BACKGROUND: The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is
requesting that Orange Street, a portion of Fairview Street (formerly known as Wilson Street)
and a portion of Lakeview Avenue (formerly known as Grandview Avenue) be accepted for the
purposes of constructing a storm drain facility within the right of way by encroachment permit.

ACCEPTING ORANGE STREET, A PORTION OF FAIRVIEW STREET (FORMERLY
KNOWN AS WILSON STREET) AND A PORTION OF LAKEVIEW AVENUE (FORMERLY
KNOWN AS GRANDVIEW AVENUE) IN THE
LAKE ELSINORE AREA
(First Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described roads were offered for dedication for road and
public utility uses by the documents hereinafter - referred to, which offers of dedication have
not been previously accepted for public use by the County of Riverside, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of

the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on February 7
2012, that this Board accepts the above mentioned roads and recognizes that said roads are
public roads open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this acceptance
is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public
road and utility uses, and is not an acceptance of the road into the County Maintained Road
System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code and that said roads will
not become part of the County Maintained Road System unless subsequently accepted into
said Maintained Road System by a resolution adopted by this Board;

Orange Street (See attached Exhibit "A ")
Orange Street (40.00 foot wide) dedicated as Lot "E" as shown on Grandview
Gardens, filed in Book 13, Page 4 of Maps, Records of Riverside County, California;
Fairview Street (formerly known as Wilson Street) (See attached Exhibit "A ")
That portion of Fairview Street (20.00 foot southeasterly half- width) dedicated as Lot
"M" lying southwesterly of the centerline of Washington Street and northeasterly of the
northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly right of way line of Orange Street
(40.00 foot full- width) as shown on Grandview Gardens, filed in Book 13, Page 4 of
Maps, Records of Riverside County, California, and;
That portion of Fairview Street (20.00 foot northwesterly half- width) dedicated as Lot,
"I" lying southwesterly of the northwesterly prolongation of the centerline of
Washington Street as shown on El Contento -By- The -Lake, filed in Book 11, Page 84
of Maps, Records of Riverside County, California;

in Book 11, Page 84 of Maps, Records of Riverside County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County,
California.
