SUBJECT: Accepting a portion of Marcelesco Lane in the West Elsinore area,
First Supervisodal District, and a portion of Vernon Avenue in the Glen Avon area,
Second Supervisorial District,
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2011 -057, accepting a portion of
Marcolesco Lane and a portion of Vernon Avenue
BACKGROUND: The Riverside County Economic Development Agency together with the
Transportation Department are working together to improve Marcolesco Lane and Vemon
Avenue. These portions of Marcolesco Lane and Vernon Avenue have been dedicated to the
public but not accepted for public use. This action will officially accept the dedicated rights -of-
way so that road construction can proceed.

ACCEPTING A PORTION OF MARCOLESCO LANE
IN THE WEST ELSINORE AREA
(First Supervisorial District)
AND ACCEPTING A PORTION OF VERNON AVENUE IN THE GLEN AVON AREA
(Second Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described roads were offered for dedication for road
and public utility purposes by the documents hereinafter - referred to, which offers of
dedication have not been previously accepted for public use by the County of
Riverside, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
Aril 5 , 2011, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication
and recognizes that said road is a public road open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this
acceptance is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the
public for public road and utility purposes, and will be an acceptance of the roads into the
County Maintained Road System, pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways
Code;

Said road is in Riverside County, California, and is described as follows:
Marcolesco Lane
That portion of Marcolesco Lane (30.00 feet wide) shown as Lots "A ", "B ", "C ", and
"D ", on Parcel Map No. 13621, on file in Book 73, Page 73 of Parcel Maps,
Records of Riverside County, California, and that portion of Marcolesco Lane'
(30.00 feet wide), as shown on Parcel Map No. 7076, on file in Book 26, Page 59
of Parcel Maps, Records of Riverside County, California, being the Southwesterly
30.00 feet of Lot "B ", lying Southeasterly of the Northwesterly prolongation of the
Northwest line of Parcel 3 of said Parcel Map No.7076, (see attached Exhibit "A ");
Vernon Avenue
That portion of Vernon Avenue (30.00 feet wide) as dedicated by Declaration of
Dedication, recorded as Instrument No. 204133, recorded on June 4, 1990 Official
Records of Riverside County, California, and that portion of Vernon Avenue
(60.00 feet and 30.00 feet wide) shown as Lot "E ", on Map of Rubidoux Park, on
file in Book 15, Pages 93 through 95 inclusive, of Maps, Records of Riverside
County, California, lying north of the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of
lot "D" of said map and southerly of the southerly right of way of State Highway 60
(see attached Exhibit "A ");
