RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2010 -087, accepting the aforementioned
streets for public road and utility use.
BACKGROUND: The applicant for Parcel Map 34981 has requested the acceptance of the
previously dedicated right -of -way for Smerber Road and Devon Road to provide public access
to the Parcel Map.

RESOLUTION NO 2410 -087
ACCEPTING PORTIONS OF SMERBER ROAD AND DEVON ROAD
IN THE EL CERRITO AREA
(Second Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described road was offered for dedication for road
and public utility purposes by the documents hereinafter- referred to, which offers of
dedication have not been previously accepted for public use by the County of Riverside,
now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
April 6 , 2010, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication
and recognizes that said roads are public roads open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this
acceptance is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the
public for public road and utility uses, and will not be an acceptance of the roads into the
County Maintained Road System, pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways
Code;
