SUBJECT: Summarily vacating a portion of Wineville Avenue in the Mira Loma area, Second
Su ervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2010 -080, summarily vacating a portion
of Wineville Avenue in the Mira Lorna area.
BACKGROUND: The applicant has requested this vacation in conjunction with Economic
Development Agency project of the realignment of Wineville Avenue and the Vernola Basin.
This project realigned the existing Wineville Avenue to the east to match the roadway to the
south, so this portion of right -of -way is no longer needed for the road. The Transportation
Department has reviewed the vacation and has no objection. No access will be eliminated to
any parcel.

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk
of the Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.

ROAD VACATION
That portion of Wineville Avenue (60.00 feet in full width) described by Petition to the
Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Approved July 6, 1916, recorded March 2, 1966 as
Instrument No. 22462, Official Records of Riverside County, California, together with that
portion of Lot "B" (Bellegrave Avenue, 55.00 feet in half width) of Parcel Map 6969 as shown
by map on file in Book 24 of Parcel Maps at pages 25 and 26, thereof, Records of Riverside
County, California, located in Sections 17 and 18, Township 2 South, Range 6 West, San
Bernardino Meridian, being described as follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the centerline of said Wineville Avenue with the
centerline of said Bellegrave Avenue as shown on said Parcel Map 6969;
THENCE South 69 °10'41" West along said centerline of Bellegrave Avenue, a distance
of 7.49 feet;
THENCE North 20 0 49 1 19" West, a distance of 64.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING, said point being a point of intersection of the westerly right -of -way line of said
Wineville Avenue with the northwesterly right -of -way line of said Bellegrave Avenue as granted
to the County of Riverside by Document No. 2009 - 0414788, recorded August 10, 2008, Official
Records of Riverside County, California;
THENCE North 00 0 15'08" East along said westerly right -of -way line of Wineville
Avenue, a distance of 587.78 feet to the most southerly point of that certain parcel of land
granted as public road and utility easement to the County of Riverside by Document No. 2008-
0115576, recorded March 10, 2008, Official Records of Riverside County, California;
THENCE leaving said westerly right -of -way line South 07 °22'13" East, a distance of
88.07 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the east, having a radius of 1221.00
feet;
THENCE southeasterly along said curve, to the left, through a central angle of
08 °15'02 ", an arc distance of I75.83 feet to the beginning of a compound, curve concave to the
east, having a radius of 2477.00 feet, the radial line from said point bears North 74 1 22'45" East;
THENCE southeasterly along said curve, to the left, through a central angle of
01 °01'44 ", an arc distance of 44.48 feet to a point on the easterly right -of -way line of said
Wineville Avenue, said point being an angle point on the westerly line of that certain parcel of
land granted as public road and utility easement to the County of Riverside by Document No.
2008-0115575, recorded March 10, 2008, Official Records of Riverside County, California;
THENCE South 00 °15'08" West along said easterly right -of -way line, a distance of
238.06 feet to the northwesterly corner of said Lot "B" (Bellegrave Avenue);

right angle from said centerline of Bellegrave Avenue;
THENCE South 69 °10'41" West along said parallel line, a distance of 89.83 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
