SUBJECT: Summarily vacating the right to accept the offer of dedication of a portion of Walnut
Street, in the Mead Valley area, First Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2009 -055, Summarily vacating the right to
accept a portion of Walnut Street.
BACKGROUND: The owner /applicant of the lots adjoining this portion of Walnut Street has
requested this vacation. This portion of Walnut Street is excess right of way and is no longer
necessary. This vacation does not prohibit access to any adjoining lots.

11 Chandlers Subdivision, filed in book 1, page 33 of Maps, Records of Riverside County,

14 WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described portion of Walnut Street is not necessary
15 and is excess Right of Way, and not required for public street or highway purposes,
16 now, therefore;

18 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
19 Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
20 assembled on . May 5 , 2009, as follows:

22 1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that
23 the hereinafter - described, portion of Walnut Street is excess Right -of -Way, is

AS EXHIBIT "A" AND MADE A PART HEREOF
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk
of the Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
