SUBJECT: Summarily vacating Abutters Access Rights on a portion of Pauba Road, in the
Rancho California area, Third Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2009 -089, summarily vacating Abutters
Rights Access on a portion of Pauba Road
BACKGROUND: This vacation of restricted access has been requested by the property owner
in order to relocate the access opening to a new location approved by the Transportation
Department in r conjunction with Lot Line Adjustment 05328. The existing access opening - is
being closed by separate instrument, which will record after approval of the vacation.

WHEREAS, the restricted abutters rights of access along Pauba Road was
dedicated to the County by Tract Map 18438, filed in Book 133, Pages 91 and 92 of
Maps, Records of Riverside County, California;
WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described portion of restricted abutters rights of
access for Lot 5 of said tract map is necessary to provide access; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
assembled on May 12 , 2009, as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that
the hereinafter- described portion of restricted abutters rights of access is no
longer needed and is hereby summarily vacated.

VACATION OF THE ABUTTERS
RIGHTS OF ACCESS RESTRICTION
A 30.00 foot portion of the abutters access restriction, lying within the Rancho
Pauba, along the westerly right -of -way line of Pauba Road at Lot 5 of Tract Map
18438, as shown by map on file in Book 133, Pages 91 and 92, inclusive,
Records of Riverside County, California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 5 of said Tract Map 18438, on the
westerly right -of -way line -of Pauba Road, which is a tangent curve concave
southeasterly having a radius 1255.00 feet, a radial line to said corner bears
North 76 East;
Thence northerly along said curve and right -of -way line, through a central angle
of 11 0 37'23" a distance of 254.59 feet to a point which is the center point of said
30.00 foot long vacation of the abutters access restriction.
See Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof, by this reference.
