SUBJECT: Summarily vacating a portion of restricted access along Calle Contento in the
Rancho California area, Third Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2009 -178 summarily vacating a portion of
restricted access along Calle Contento in the Rancho California area.
BACKGROUND: The applicant has requested to vacate this portion of restricted access along
Calle Contento to comply with the condition of approval for Plot Plan 19998. The Transportation
Department has reviewed the vacation and has no objection.

9 WHEREAS, the restricted abutters rights of access along Calle was
10 dedicated to the County by Parcel Map 21938 recorded in Parcel Map Book 146,
11 pages 56 and 57, on file in the Office of the Recorder of Riverside County, California;

13 WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of restricted abutters rights of
14 access for Parcel 2 of said parcel map is necessary to provide access; now, therefore;
15
16 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
17 Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
18 assembled on June 2 , 2009, as follows:

20 1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that
21 the hereinafter - described portion of restricted abutters rights of access is
22 needed for access and is hereby summarily vacated.

24 2. That the herein- described portion of restricted abutter rights of access
25 is unnecessary for the present of prospective public use, including use as a
