RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2009 -276, accepting a portion of Orange
Drive.
BACKGROUND: The applicant is requesting that this portion of Orange Drive be accepted to
satisfy the condition of approval for CUP03602, establishing primary and secondary public
access to the Blythe Solar Project.

RESOLUTION NO 2009 -276
ACCEPTING A PORTION OF ORANGE DRIVE IN THE BLYTHE AREA
(Fourth Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described road was offered for dedication for road
and public utility purposes by the documents hereinafter- referred to, which offer of
dedication has not been previously accepted for public use by the County of Riverside,
now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
September 15 , 2009, that this Board accepts the offer of dedication
and recognizes that said road is a public road open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this
acceptance is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the
public for public road and utility uses, and will not be an acceptance of the road into the
County Maintained Road System, pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways
Code;

Orange Drive (See Exhibit "A ")
That portion of Orange Drive (60.00 feet wide) as stated in Declaration of
Dedication, recorded as Instrument No. 30987, on March 3,1974 Official Records
of Riverside County, California;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of the
Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
