SUBJECT: Summarily vacating the right to accept the dedication of Kerie Kay Lane, Iseral
Lane and a portion of Aspel Road in the Menifee area, Third Supervisorial
District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2008 -027, summarily vacating the right to
accept the dedication of Kerie Kay Lane, Iseral Lane and a portion of Aspel Road.
BACKGROUND: The property owners have requested the vacation of these roads by design,
to comply with the conditions of approval for Plot Plan 21558. The result will not eliminate
access to any of the associated parcels.

10 WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described Kerie Kay Lane, Iseral Lane and a
11 portion of Aspel Road were dedicated for public road and utility purposes on Parcel
12 Map No. 12258, recorded in Parcel Map Book 80, page 20, on file in the Office of the
13 Recorder of Riverside County, California;
14
15 WHEREAS, the herein- described Kerie Kay Lane, Iseral Lane and a portion of
16. Aspel Road were not accepted for public road and utility purposes;
17
18 WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described Kerie Kay Lane, Iseral Lane and a
19 portion of Aspel Road are not necessary and are excess Right of Way, and not
20 required for public street or highway purposes, now, therefore;

22 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
23 Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
24 assembled on March 18 , 2008, as follows:

3 1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the
4 hereinafter- described Kerie Kay Lane, Iseral Lane and a portion of Aspel Road
5 are excess Right of Way and are no longer required for public street and
6 highway purposes and are hereby summarily vacated.

8 SEE LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND PLAT ATTACHED HERETO
9 AS EXHIBITS "A" AND "B" AND MADE A PART HEREOF

11 EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
12 public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
13 replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
14 Highways Code.
