RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2008 -249 Changing the Name of Marine
Drive to Orange Blossom Lane.
BACKGROUND: The Transportation Department has been requested to process this street
name change. Transportation Department staff sent out twenty (20) letters to the adjacent
property owners notifying them of the proposed street name change, seven (7) returned letters
in favor have been received, and none in opposition.

8 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a
9 public hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change
10 the name of Marine Lane lying west of Meridian Street, within Sections 12, T. 5 S., R.
11 1 W., as shown on attached Exhibit "A ", Third Supervisoral District, and all persons
12 having had an opportunity to be heard; now, therefore;

14 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
15 Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
16 assembled on July 1 , 2008, that the name of Marine Drive be
17 changed to Orange Blossom Lane.

BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
