SUBJECT: Accepting a portion of KGKJ Ranch Road for public road and utility purposes, in
the Anza area, Third Supervisorial District
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2008 -148, accepting KGKJ Ranch Road for
public road and utility purposes, but not into the County Maintained Road System.
BACKGROUND: The Conditions of Approval of Tentative Parcel Map 28591 require KGKJ
Ranch Road to be a public road. The acceptance of this portion of KGKJ Ranch Road will
satisfy the Conditions of Approval.

ACCEPTING A PORTION OF KGKJ RANCH ROAD EASEMENT,
IN THE ANZA AREA, FOR PUBLIC USE.

WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of KGKJ Ranch Road easement was
offered for dedication for road and public utility purposes by Parcel Map 7018, Book 27, page
45, of Parcel Maps, which offer of dedication has not been previously accepted for public use
by the County of Riverside, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on Sept. 2 ,
2008, that this Board accepts the offer of dedication and recognizes that said road is public
road open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this acceptance
is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public
road and utility uses, and is not an acceptance of the road into the County Maintained Road
System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code and that said road will not
become part of the County Maintained Road System unless subsequently accepted into said
Maintained Road System by a resolution adopted by this Board;

Said road is in the County of Riverside, State of California, and is described as follows:
KGKJ RANCH ROAD ROAD EASEMENT (See Exhibit "A ")
All of Lot "B" of Parcel Map 7018, Book 27, page 45, of Parcel Maps, records of the
Recorder, Riverside County, California. Excepting that portion of Lot "B" along the Northerly
boundary of Parcels 2 of Parcel Map 7018.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County, California.
