RESOLUTION NO 2008 -155
ACCEPTING A PORTION OF 65 AVENUE AND 7 TH STREET,
IN THE MECCA AREA, FOR PUBLIC USE.
(Fourth Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of 65 Avenue and 7 th Street were
created with the Amended Map of Mecca Townsite, recorded in Book 9, Page 93, of Maps,
Records of the Recorder, Riverside County, California, which have not previously been
accepted by any instrument, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on October 21
2008, that this Board accepts 65 Avenue and 7" Street and recognizes that said roads are
public roads open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this acceptance
is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public
road and utility uses, and will be an acceptance of the roads into the County Maintained Road
System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code;

Said roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California, and is described as follows:
65 AVENUE (See Exhibit "A")
That portion of 65"' Avenue (10.00 feet wide) lying between Lincoln Street and
Coahuilla Street, as shown on the Amended Map of Mecca Townsite, Book 9, page 93, of
Maps, records of the Recorder, Riverside County, California, lying in the Northwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 8, Township 7 South, Range 9 East.
7TH STREET (See Exhibit "A ")
That portion of 7 Street (50.00 feet wide) lying between Lincoln Street and Coahuilla
Street, as shown on the Amended Map of Mecca Townsite, Book 9, page 93, of Maps,
records of the Recorder, Riverside County, California, lying in the Northwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 8, Township 7 South, Range 9 East.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that'the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County, California.
