SUBJECT: Summarily vacating a portion of Saddleback View Trail and a portion of Mano Trail,
Green Acres Area, Third Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2008 -401, summarily vacating
a portion of Saddleback View Trail and a portion of Mano Trail.
BACKGROUND: The requirement for this road easement to be dedicated was generated by
Tract No. 26973 which was not completed, and has since expired. Since the need for the
dedication no longer exists, the applicant has requested the vacation of this road easement.
Letters were sent to all adjacent property owners for their input. From all letters returned there
is no opposition to this requested vacation.

WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described, portion of Saddleback View Trail and a
portion of Mano Trail were dedicated by Instrument No. 0600734, dated August 2,
2004, Official Records of Riverside County, California.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Saddleback View Trail and a
portion of Mano Trail are not necessary and are excess Right of Way, and not required
for public street or highway purposes, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
assembled on Decem 16 , 2008, as follows:

1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the hereinafter -
described portion of Saddleback View Trail and a portion of Mano Trail are excess
Right -of -Way, are no longer required for public street and highway purposes and are
hereby summarily vacated.
Saddleback View Trail (See Exhibit "A ")
That portion of Saddleback View Trail (60.00 feet wide) as described by
Instrument No. 0600734, dated August 2, 2004, Official Records of Riverside County,
California.
Mano Trail (See Exhibit "A ")
That portion of Mano Trail (60.00 feet wide) as described by Instrument
No. 0600734, dated August 2, 2004, Official Records of Riverside County, California.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
