SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF DEACON STREET
IN THE ROMOLAND AREA

WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Deacon Street was dedicated
1 on the Parcel Map 13380, recorded in Parcel Map Book 75, Page75, and Parcel Map
12984, recorded in Parcel Map Book 87, Page 50 Official Records of the Recorder of
Riverside County, California;
WHEREAS, the herein - described portion of Deacon Street was not accepted
for public road and utility purposes;
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Deacon Street is not necessary
and is excess Right of Way, and not required for public street and highway purposes,
now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
assembled on January 9 , 2007, as follows:

RESOLUTION NO. 2007-005
1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the
hereinafter- described portion of Deacon Street is excess Right of Way and is no
longer required for public street and highway purposes and is hereby summarily
vacated.
SEE LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND PLAT ATTACHED HERETO
AS EXHIBITS "A" AND "B" AND MADE A PART HEREOF
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, - operate, -
replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
2. That the herein- described portion of Deacon Street is unnecessary for
present or prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized
transportation facility.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk
of the Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.

In the County of Riverside, State of California, lying within the northwest quarter
of Section 17, Township 5 South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Meridian being all
that portion of Lot "E" of Parcel Map No. 13,380 as shown by map on file in Book
75, Page 32 of Parcel Maps, and all that portion of Lot 'IF" of Parcel Map No.
12,984 as shown by map on file in Book 87, Page 50 of Parcel Maps, records of said

BEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of Lot "E" of said Parcel Map No. 13,380,

Thence South 00 along the common line between Parcel 1 and Lot "F"

common line;
