8 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a
9 public hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change
10 the name of Indian Avenue, from the north boundary of the City of Palm Springs
11 northerly to Pierson Boulevard and the north boundary of the City of Desert Hot
12 Springs northwesterly to the west fine of Section 16, T. 2 S., R. 4 E., lying in Sections
13 2, 3, 10, 11, and 14, T.3 S., R.4 E. and Sections 15 and 16 T. 2 S. R. 4 E. S.B.M., as
14 shown on attached Exhibit "A ", Fifth Supervisoral District, to North Indian Canyon
15 Drive, and all persons having had an opportunity to be heard; now, therefore;

17 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
18 Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
19 assembled on May 8 , 2007, that the name of Indian Avenue be
20 changed to North Indian Canyon Drive.

22 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
23 Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
24 Recorder, Riverside County, California. FORM APPROVED
