RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2007 -231, summarily vacating a portion of
Los Alamos Road.
BACKGROUND: The property owners have requested that this portion of Los Alamos Road be
vacated. This portion is no longer required due to additional roadways being dedicated and built
which will facilitate development of adjoining properties. A concurrent application has been filed
with the City of Murrieta to vacate the southerly portion of Los Alamos Road. No access will be
eliminated from any parcels.

WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Los Alamos Road was
dedicated for public road and utility purposes on Parcel Map No. 16557, recorded in
Parcel Map Book 95, pages 58 through 61, inclusive, Tract No. 30695 -1, recorded in
Book 409, pages 42 through 51, inclusive and Tract No. 30695, recorded in Book 409,
pages 52 through 59, inclusive, on file in the Office of the Recorder of Riverside
County, California;
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Los Alamos Road is not
necessary and is excess Right of Way, and not required for public street or highway
purposes, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
assembled on November 27 , 2007, as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that
the hereinafter - described portion of Los Alamos Road is excess Right of Way

summarily vacated.

AS EXHIBITS "A" AND "B" AND MADE A PART HEREOF
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk
of the Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
