SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF WILCOX SQUARE ALLEY
IN THE RUBIDOUX AREA

WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described portion of Wilcox Square Alley, Lot "F', was
dedicated for public use by the Tract Map of Wilcox Square recorded in Map Book 15,
page 86, on file in the Recorder's Office of Riverside County, State of California; and,
WHEREAS, the offer of dedication for said portion of Wilcox Square Alley has
been accepted for public use and as part of the County Maintained Road System by
Resolution recorded September 21,1959, in Official Record Book 2548, page 455, on file
in the Recorder's Office of Riverside County, State of California; and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Wilcox Square Alley is excess
right -of -way, is not required for public street or highway purposes, and this vacation will
not eliminate access to any parcels; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
March 14 , 2006, as follows:

3 1. That the hereinafter - described portion of Wilcox Square Alley is not required
4 for public street and highway purpose and is, pursuant to Section 8334(a) of
5 the Streets and Highways Code, hereby summarily vacated.

7 SEE LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND PLAT ATTACHED HERETO
8 AS EXHIBITS "A" AND "B" AND MADE A PART HEREOF
9
10 EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
11 public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
12 replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to Section 8340 of the Streets and
13 Highways Code.

15 2. That the herein - described portion of Wilcox Square Alley is unnecessary
16 for present or prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized
17 transportation facility.

19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED. that the Clerk of
20 the Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the
21 office of the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.

Alley Right -of -Way
Being Lot "F" in Block "B" of Wilcox Square, in Section 16, Township 2 South, Range 5 West, as
shown by map on file in Book 15 of Maps at page 86 thereof, records of Riverside County,
California, more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of said Lot "F" (20.00 feet wide) as shown on said map,
said point also being on the southeasterly right -of -way line ofMintern Street (30.00 feet in half
width), as shown on said map;
THENCE South 57 °42'00" East along the southwesterly line of said Lot "F ", a distance of 320.00
feet to a point on the northwesterly right -of -way line of Arora Street (30.00 feet in half width), as
shown on said map;
THENCE North 32°1$'00" East along said northwesterly right -of way Iine of Arora Street, a
distance of 20.00 feet to a point on the northeasterly line of said Lot "F ";
THENCE North 57 °42'00" West along said northeasterly line of Lot "F", a distance of 320.00 feet
to a point on said southeasterly right -of -way line of Mintern Street;
