4 ACCEPTING PORTIONS OF GREEN AVENUE, PENNY LANE, AND WHITTIER
5 AVENUE, IN THE HOMELAND AREA FOR PUBLIC USE,
6 (Third Supervisorial District)

8 WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portions of Green Avenue, Penny
9 Lane, and Whittier Avenue were offered for dedication for public road and utility purposes
10 by the Maps hereinafter referred to, which offers of dedication have not been previously
11 accepted by the County of Riverside, now, therefore;
12
13 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors
14 of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
15 Julq 11 2006, that this Board accepts the above - mentioned roads and'
16 recognizes that said roads are public roads open for use by the general public;
17
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED, that this
19 acceptance is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the
20 public for public road and utility uses, and is not an acceptance of the roads into the
21 County Maintained Road System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways
22 Code and that said roads will not become part of the County Maintained Road System
23 unless subsequently accepted into said Maintained Road System by a Resolution
24 adopted by this Board;

3 Said roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California, and are described as

5 GREEN AVENUE (See Exhibit "A", Page 1)
7 That portion of Green Avenue (30.00 feet wide half- width), dedicated as Lot "C ", on
8 Parcel Map No. 7288, recorded in Parcel Map Book 25 at Page 99, Official Records of
9 Riverside County, California.

11 PENNY LANE (See Exhibit "A ", Page 2)
12 The most southerly 20.00 feet of Lot "C', Penny Lane, (40.00 feet wide full- width),
13 lying adjacent to Lots 35 and 36, as dedicated on Map of Perris Valley Acres, recorded in:
14 Map Book 13 at Pages 41 through 43 inclusive, Official Records of Riverside County,
15 California.

17 WHITTIER AVENUE (See Exhibit "A ", Page 3)
18 That portion of Whittier Avenue (33.00 feet wide half - width), dedicated as Lot "C ",
19 on Parcel Map No. 11,759, recorded in Parcel Map Book 57 at Page 28, Official Records
20 of Riverside County, California.

22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of
23 the Board shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
