RELEASE AND CANCELLATION OF EASEMEN
THIS Release and Cancellation of Easement ( "Release ") is made and entered into this
D of February 2006 by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting by and
through the Secretary of the Air Force (the "Grantor "), and the County of Riverside, a political
subdivision of the State of California (the "Grantee "). When used in this Release, unless the
context specifies otherwise, "Grantee" shall include the successors and assigns of the Grantee.
WHEREAS, by r in that Quitclaim Deed dated December 30, 1999, recorded
as Document No. 2000 - 006655 on January 6, 2000, the United States created an exclusive
easement on and over certain lands known as the Western Area Defense System High Frequency
Antenna Farm, legally described therein, being a part of the parcel conveyed by said Quitclaim
Deed, together with unlimited rights of access and egress over other portions of the parcel
conveyed by said deed (the "Property);
WHEREAS, Grantor has abandoned the remaining facilities on the Property and no
longer has a use for the Property; and
WHEREAS, the Grantee has requested that the exclusive easement on said Property be
released and cancelled
THEREFORE, the Grantor does hereby release and forever quitclaim to the Grantee all
that real property situated in County of Riverside, State of California, described as follows:
A portion of land lying in Section 33, Township 3 South, Range 4 West, S.B.M., being
more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the northeast corner of the southeast one - quarter of said
Section 33, said point also being the centerline intersection of Nandina Avenue
(60.00 feet wide) and Brown Street (60.00 feet wide) as shown on subdivision
map of Upton Acres Number 2, filed in Book 14, Page 14, of Maps, Records of
the Recorder of Riverside County, California; thence along said centerline of
Nandina Avenue, N. 89 °42'58" W., a distance of 2662.74 feet to the centerline
intersection of said Nandina Avenue and Alexander Street (60.00 feet wide);
thence N. 00 °57'39" E., a distance of 1447.44 feet; thence 89 °02'21" E., a

distance of 785.48 feet; thence 00 °57'39" E., a distance of 57.57 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N. 00 °55'01" E., a distance of 994.79 feet;
thence S. 89 °06'03" E. a distance of 813.38 feet; thence S. 00'55'18" W., a
distance of 995.16 feet; Thence N. 89 °04'31" W., a distance of 813.30 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 809,256 square feet, or 18.578 acres, more or less.
