RESOLUTION NO 2005 -114
ACCEPTING AMITE LANE AND A PORTION OF TCHOUPITOULAS LANE IN THE
PALM DESERT AREA FOR PUBLIC USE.
(Fourth Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described Amite Lane and portion of
Tchoupitoulas Lane as shown on the Record of Survey hereinafter - referred to, has not
been previously accepted by the County of Riverside, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on JnY 12 ,
2005, that this Board accepts the above - mentioned roads and recognizes that said roads
are public roads open for use by the general public;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED, that this
acceptance is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the
public for public road and utility uses, and is not an acceptance of the roads into the
County Maintained Road System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways
Code and that said roads will not become part of the County Maintained Road System
unless subsequently accepted into said Maintained Road System by a resolution adopted
by this Board;
Said roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California, and are described

at Page 25 of Records of Survey, Official Records of Riverside County, California.
TCHOUPITOULAS LANE (See Exhibit "A ")
That portion of Tchoupitoulas Lane (60 feet wide) between Amite Lane and
Chimayo Road, previously called Pontchartrain Lane, as shown on Record of Survey
recorded in Book 14 at Page 25 of Records of Survey, Official Records of Riverside
County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of
the Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Riverside County, California.
