CHANGE THE NAME OF A PORTION OF OLD HIGHWAY 86 TO HARRISON
STREET IN THE SALTON SEA AREA OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY
(FOURTH SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a
public hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change
the name of Old Highway 86 lying between 66 Avenue and new Highway 86S, just
south of 82 Avenue, in Sections 17, 21, 27 and 34 T. 7 S., R 8 E., Sections 2, 11,
12, 13,14 and 24 T. 8 S., 8 E., and Sections 19 and 30 T 8 S., R 9 E., S.B. &M, Fourth
Supervisoral District, to Harrison Street, and all persons having had an opportunity to
be heard; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session
assembled on _ JULY 26 , 2005, that the name of Old Highway 86 be
changed to Harrison Street.
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder, Riverside County, California.
