18` Ave
BACKGROUND: The developer of Wind Energy Conservtion System No.112 has requested this vacation to
allow for facilities to be built in this area. Access will not be eliminated to any parcels.

SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF 18 TH AVENUE
IN THE PALM SPRINGS AREA
(Fifth Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of 18"` Avenue was dedicated as Lot "C ", on
Parcel Map 20305, recorded in Book 125, Pages 75 through 78, inclusive, records of the County
Recorder, Riverside County, California, and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of 1 e Avenue is not part of the circulation
element of the General Plan, and that this vacation will not eliminate access to any parcels, and
is excess right -of -way, and not required for public street or highway purposes: now therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, march 30
2004, as follows;
1. That the hereinafter described portion of 18"' Avenue is not required for public street and
highway purposes and is pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code, hereby
summarily vacated:

3 EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing public
4 utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate, replace,
5 remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and Highways Code.

7 2. That the herein - described portion of 18 Avenue is unnecessary for present or
8 prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized transportation facility.

10 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
11 Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
12 County Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
