;UBJECT: Change the name of Calle Verde to Avendia Verde in the Rancho California Area,
Fhird Su ervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION. Adopt Resolution No. 2004 -145, to change the name of Calle Verde to
kvendia Verde in the Rancho California Area.
BACKGROUND: Calle Verde and Avenida Verde were two separate streets ending in cul -de -sacs
as shown' on Parcel Map Book 3, pages 80 and 81. Additional parcel maps have recorded and
dedicated road right of way connecting Calle Verde to Avenida Verde. This name change will create
one street name of Avendia Verde for the street between Pauba Road and De Portoia Road. Cage
Verde is the 'shortest segment of the road and has only one address issued to Calle Verde. The
affected property owner has been notified of this name change and has not responded. There has
been no opposition to this name change. The Thomas Brothers Road Guide already identifies this
portion of road as Avendia Verde. The Transportation Department recommends approval of this
name change.

CHANGE THE NAME OF CALLE VERDE TO AVENDIA VERDE IN THE RANCHO
CALIFORNIA AREA OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY
(THIRD SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a public
hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change the name of
Calle Verde between De Portola Road and 800 feet westerly thereof, as shown on Parcel
Map on file in Parcel Map Book 3, Pages 80 and 81 on record in the Recorders Office,
Riverside County California, Located in the Rancho Pauba, as shown on attached Exhibit "A ",
in the Third Supervisorial District, and all persons having had an opportunity to be heard; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
.Tune 22 , 2001, that the name of Calle Verde be changed to Avenida Verde.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder, Riverside County, California.
