RECOMMENDED MOTION Adopt Resolution 2002 -59 accepting portions of Tioga Lane
and Chatham Lane, in the Sun City area and a portion of Madera De Playa Drive in the
Temecula area for public use and into the County Maintained Road System.
BACKGROUND: The improvement of Madera De Playa Drive to County Standards was
included in the improvements for Tract 10429. A Notice of Completion has been issued.
The improvement of Tioga Lane and Chatham Lane to County Standards was included
in the improvements for Tracts 27093 & 27093 -1. Notices of Completion have been
issued.

COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE
ACCEPTING PORTIONS OF TIOGA LANE AND CHATHAM LANE, IN THE SUN CITY
AREA AND A PORTION OF MADERA DE PLAYA DRIVE IN THE TEMECULA AREA
FOR PUBLIC USE AND INTO THE COUNTY MAINTAINED ROAD SYSTEM.
(Third Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described public roads were offered for dedication for
public road purposes by the maps and documents hereinafter referred to, which offers have
not. been accepted for Public use and are not part of the County Maintained Road System,
now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on May 14
, 2002, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication and recognizes that said roads
are public roads open for use by the general public and are formally brought into the County
Maintained Road System;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this acceptance
is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public
roads and utility uses and is an acceptance of the roads into the County Maintained Road
System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highway Code;

70, Page 80, and the westerly 30.00 feet of Parcel 4 of Parcel Map 4736, recorded in Parcel

That portion of the southerly 30.00 feet of Madera De Playa Drive lying between the
westerly right of:way line of Avenida Trabajo and the easterly line of Lot "F ", both as shown
on Tract Map 10429, recorded in Map Book 119, Pages 56 and 57. A portion of this having
been accepted for public use by Resolution recorded November 3, 1994 as Instrument No.
421172 and a portion dedicated as Lots "C" and "D" on Parcel Map 11640, recorded in
Parcel Map Book 64, Pages 49 and 50, all records of the Recorder, Riverside County,
California.
