SUBJECT: Summarily vacating a portion of restricted abutters rights of access along
Harvill Ave and Cajalco Expressway, in the Perris area, First Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board adopt Resolution N0. 2003 -29, summarily
vacating a portion of restricted abutters rights of access along Harvill Ave and Cajalco
Expressway.
BACKGROUND: This vacation of abutters rights of access is a condition of CLIP 3320.
The vacation will provide driveways for a convenience store / gas station.

11 WHEREAS, the restricted abutters rights of access along Harvill Ave and Cajalco
12 Expressway were dedicated to the County by Parcel Map 24110, recorded in Book 165,
13 Pages 11 through 18, inclusive, records of the County Recorder, Riverside County, California,
14 and,

16 WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portions of restricted abutters rights of access of
17 said map are not necessary and are excess interest; now, therefore;

19 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
20 the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
21 March 4 , 2003, as follows:
22 1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highwaysi Code that the hereinafter
23 described restricted abutters rights of access are an excess interest in the named right -of- way
24 that are not required for highway purposes and are hereby summarily vacated:

unnecessary for present or prospective public use, including use as a non- motorized
transportation facility.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Riverside, Califomia.

Vacation of Restricted Access Rights
Description
Those portions of Parcel 27 of Parcel Map 24110 as recorded in Parcel Map Book 165, Pages
11 to 18 inclusive, Records of Riverside County, State of California, lying in Section 12, T. 4 S.,
R. 4 W., SBM, more particularly described as follows:
Access Opening "A"
Commencing at the most southerly corner of said Parcel 27; thence North 54 0 34'02"
West along the southwest line of said Parcel 27, also being the northeast right of way of
Harvili Avenue (50 feet half- width) as shown on said Parcel Map, a distance of 68.00
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 54 0 34'02" West along said
southwest line of Parcel 27, also being the northeast right of way of said Harvill Avenue,
a distance of 44.00 feet to the TERMINUS of Access Opening "A ".
Access Opening "B"
Commencing at the most northerly comer of said Parcel 27 and the beginning of a non -
tangent curve concave to the southeast and having a radius of 1250.00 feet, from which
a radial line bears South 45 0 52'16" East thence SE ' l along said curve, also. being the
southeast right of way of Cajalco Expressway, an arc distance of 16.28 feet through a
central angle of 0 1 44'47" to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, from which a radial line
bears South 46 0 37'03" East; thence continuing along said curve having a radius of
1250.00 feet, an arc distance of 53.44 feet and through a central angle of 2 0 26'58 ", to
the TERMINUS of Access Opening "B"
