SUBJECT: Summarily vacating Oakshade Circle, in the Santa Rosa area, Third
Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION That the Board adopt Resolution No . 2003 -279, summarily
vacating Oakshade Circle.
BACKGROUND: Oakshade Circle is no longer necessary due to Parcei Merger 1350,
recorded June 3, 2003, instrument No. 2003 - 398171, record of the County Recorder.
There is no opposition to this vacation and there will be no landlocked parcels as a
result of this vacation.

SUMMARILY VACATING OAKSHADE CIRCLE
IN THE RANCHO SANTA ROSA AREA
(Third Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described Oakshade Circle was dedicated as Lots "C" through
"E" inclusive, on Parcel Map 26088, recorded in Book 198, Pages 62 and 63, records of the
County Recorder, Riverside County, California, and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described Oakshade Circle is not part of the circulation element
of the General Plan, and that this vacation will not eliminate access to any parcels, and is excess
right -of -way, and not required for public street or highway purposes: now therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, September 9,
2003, as follows;
1. That the hereinafter described Oakshade Circle is not required for public street and
highway purposes and is pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code, hereby
summarily vacated:

3 EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing public
4 utilities and public service facilities, together with the Tight to maintain, operate, replace,
5 remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and Highways Code.

7 2. That the herein - described Oakshade Circle is unnecessary for present or prospective
8 public use, including use as a non - motorized transportation facility.

10 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
11 Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
12 County Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
