WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portions of Cactus Avenue (30.00 feet in half
width), were dedicated per Parcel Map No. 10003, filed in book 50, page 100 of Parcel Maps
and Parcel Map No. 12826, filed in book 83, pages 20 and 21 of Parcel Maps, and Parcel Map
No. 8007, filed in book 36, page 23 of Parcel Maps, all records of the Recorder, Riverside
Country, California ;
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of Cactus Avenue is not part of the
circulation element of the General Plan, and that this vacation will not eliminate access to any
parcels and is excess right -of -way, and not required for public street or highway purposes: now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, January 15
2002, as follows:
1. Pursuant to section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the hereinafte .
described portion of Cactus Avenue is excess right -of -way not required for public street an(
highway purposes and is hereby summadiy vacated:

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation any easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
replace, remove or renew such facilities, pursuant to Section 8340 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
2. That the herein described Cactus Avenue is unnecessary for the present oc
prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized transportation facility.
