RECOMMENDED MOTION That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2002 -51, accepting an
offer of dedication for public use and into the County Maintained Trail System.
BACKGROUND: The Riverside County Regional Park and Open Space District, through
the Transportation Department, has requested the acceptance of the Equestrian and
Open Space Easement as shown on Tract Map 9202 for public use and into the County
Maintained Trail System.

ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR AN EQUESTRIAN AND OPEN SPACE
EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC USE AND INTO THE COUNTY MAINTAINED TRAIL SYSTEM, IN
THE MOCKINGBIRD CANYON AREA
(First Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described Equestrian and Open Space Easement was offered
for dedication for public use by Tract Map 9202 on file in Map Book 114, Pages 61 through 65,
inclusive, which offer of dedication has not been accepted for public use and is not part of the
County Maintained Trail System, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, Fe bruary 26
2002, that this Board accepts the offer of dedication and recognizes that said easement is a public
easement open for use by the general public:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED, that this acceptance is
for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public use and

is an acceptance of the easement into the County Maintained Trail System;
Said Equestrian and Open Space Easement is in the County of Riverside, and is

The designated Equestrian and Open Space Easement lying within Lots 1, 5, 6, 7, 20 and 21 as
shown and dedicated on Tract Map 9202, recorded in Book 114, Pages 61 through 65, inclusive,
records of the Recorder's Office, Riverside County, California.

AND MADE A PART HEREOF
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County, California.
