SUBJECT: Accepting roads for public use and into the County Maintained Road System
in the Desert Hot Springs and Quail Valley areas, Third & Fifth Supervisorial Districts
RECOMMENDED MOTION Adopt Resolution 2002 -65 accepting a portion of Camino
Idilio, in the Desert Hot Springs area, and a portion of Suzan Street, in the Quail Valley
area, for public use and into the County Maintained Road System.
BACKGROUND: The improvement of these roads to County Standards has been
completed by County Day Labor as part of the Transportation Improvement Program.
The improvements on Camino Idilio were funded by Proposition 111. The
improvements on Suzan Street were funded by County Service Area 41 Meadowbrook.

AND A PORTION OF SUZAN.STREET, IN THE QUAIL VALLEY AREA FOR PUBLIC USE
AND INTO THE COUNTY MAINTAINED ROAD SYSTEM.
(Third & Fifth Supervisorial Districts)
WHEREAS, Camino Idilio and Suzan.Street were offered for dedication for public road
purposes by the documents hereinafter referred to, the offers for Camino Idilio have not been
I accepted for Public use and both roads are not part of the County Maintained Road System,
now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on March 26
, 2002, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication for Camino Idilio and
recognizes that both roads are public roads open for use by the general public and are
formally brought into the County Maintained Road System;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED that this acceptance
is for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public
roads and utility uses and is an acceptance of the roads into the County Maintained Road
System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code;
Said roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California, and are described as
follows:

. That portion of Camino Idilio, between Avenida Ramada and Avenida Gracia, as
dedicated on Declaration of Dedication recorded July 27, 1973, as Instrument No. 98971,
and Declaration of Dedication recorded July 27, 1973, as Instrument No. 98972, both records
of the Recorder, Riverside County, California.
Fifth Supervisorial District
SUZAN STREET (See Exhibit "A ")
That portion of Suzan Street, from Jarvis Street easterly 520 feet, as described and
accepted for public use on Resolution No. 91 -096, recorded February 27, 1991, as
Instrument No. 65274, records of the Recorder, Riverside County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County,
California.
