CHANGE THE NAME OF A PORTION OF GILMAN SPRINGS ROAD (ALSO KNOWN
AS FOOTHILL ROAD) TO STATE STREET IN THE SAN JACINTO AREA OF RIVERSIDE
COUNTY
(THIRD SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a
public hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change the
name of that portion of Gilman Springs Road (Foothill Road) lying between Soboba Road
and the San Jacinto City Limits in Sections 15 & 22, T. 4 S., R. 1 W., S.B.& M., Third and
Fifth Supervisorial Districts, to State Street; that portion of Gilman Springs Road (Highway
79, recently relinquished from the State) lying between Sanderson Avenue and Soboba Road
will remain named Gilman Springs Road; and all persons having had an opportunity to be
heard; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
September 10 , 2002, that the name of the above described portion of Gilman
Springs Road be changed to State Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this Board
shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder,
Riverside County, California. FORM APPROVED
