SUBJECT: Accepting roads for public road and utility purposes, in the Woodcrest area,
in the First Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2002-311 accepting offers of
dedication for unnamed roads for public road and utility purposes, but not into the
County Maintained Road System.
BACKGROUND: The Gas Company has requested the County's acceptance of offers of
dedication in order to provide service of natural gas to properties in this area.

10 WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described public roads were offered for dedication for public
11 road purposes by the documents and maps hereinafter - referred to, which offers of dedication
12 have not been accepted for public use and have not been accepted into the County Maintained
13 Road System, now, therefore;

15 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
16 County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, November 5,
17 2002, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication and recognizes that said roads are public
18 roads open for use by the general public;

20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that this acceptance is
21 for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside, State of California on behalf of the public
22 for public road and utility uses and is not an acceptance of the roads into the County Maintained
23 Road System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code, said roads will not
24 become part of the County Maintained Road System unless subsequently accepted into said
25 Maintained Road System by a resolution adopted by the Board;

27 Said unnamed roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California and are described as

4 The southerly 40.00 feet of the westerly 320 feet of Lot 9 of Tract Map 3736, recorded in Book
5 61, Pages 36 and 37 of maps, dedicated as Parcel 1 by instrument number58161, recorded May
6 4, 1972, along with the unnamed roads dedicated by instrument number 26860, recorded May
7 7, 1974, and shown on Parcel Map 5746, recorded in Book 12, Page 10 of Parcel Maps, all
8 records of the Recorder, Riverside County, California.

10 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of
11 this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Riverside County, State of
12 California.
