RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2002 -108, summarily
vacating a portion -of Via Camaghi.
BACKGROUND: As a condition of Public Use Permit 778 the applicant has requested
this vacation to allow for a larger parking lot. This portion of Via Camaghi is excess
right -of -way and is no longer necessary due to the realignment and re- dedication of Via
Camaghi.

8 WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described portion of Via Carnaghi, was dedicated but not
9 accepted by Instrument No.48362, Recorded April 24, 1974, and shown on Parcel Map 5698,
10 recorded in Book 12, Page 71, of Parcel Maps, all records of the County Recorder, Riverside
11 County, California,

13 WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of Via Carnaghi is not part of the circulation
14 element of the General Plan, and this vacation will not eliminate access to any parcels, now
15 therefore;

17 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
18 County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, November 26
19 2002, as follows;

21 1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the hereinafter
22 described road easement is an excess interest that is not required for highway purposes and is
23 hereby summarily vacated:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this

Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.

A portion of Via Carnaghi dedicated by Instrument No. 48362, Recorded April 24,
1974, lying in Parcel 1 as shown on Parcel Map 5698, as recorded in Book 12,
Page 71 of Parcel Maps, in the Office of Recorder of the County of Riverside,
State of California, lying within Section 26, Township 6 South, Range 4 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian, described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of said Parcel 1 as shown on said
Parcel Map 5698;
Thence, North 00 0 44'35" East, along the Westerly right -of way of said Via
Camaghi (60.00 foot wide) as shown on said Parcel Map 5698, a distance of
109.23 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
The following 5 courses being along the right -of -way of said Via Camaghi;
Thence, continuing North 00 0 44'35" East, along said Westerly right -of way a
distance of 181.10 feet to the beginning of a non - tangent 50.00 foot radius curve
concave Southwesterly, a radial line bears North 36 07'25" West;
Thence, Easterly and Southerly, along said curve, through a central angle of
143 °07'43 ", an arc distance of 124.90 feet to a tangent line;
Thence, South 17 0 00'13" West, a distance of 50.00 feet to the beginning of a
tangent 100.00 foot radius curve, concave Easterly;
Thence, Southerly, along said curve, through a central angle of 16 0 15'37", an arc
distance of 28.38 feet;
Thence, South 00 0 44'35" West, a distance of 4.62 feet, said point being the
beginning of a non - tangent 48.00 foot radius curve concave Southeasterly, a
radial line bears North 15 0 13'10" East;
