(GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 27281)
THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in the real property granted by the easement
dated April 4 2001 from United States of America Department of the Interior, to the
COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE, State of California, by the instrument to which this Certificate
is attached is hereby accepted by the undersigned on behalf of the Board of Supervisors
pursuant to the authority contained in County Ordinance No. 669, for the purpose of
vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public road and utility
uses, and subject to improvements in accordance with County standards, shall be included
into the County Maintained Road System.
Grantee consents to recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer.

GRANT OF EASEMENT
The United States of America, acting by and through the Director, Palm Springs Reid Office, Bureau of
Indian Affairs, Department of the Interior, Palm Springs, California, hereinafter referred to as "Grantor",
pursuant to the authority delegated by 209 DM 8, 230 DM 1, and 3 IAM 4 and Sacramento Redelegation
Order No.1 (43 FR 30131, Dated July 13, 1978), and pursuant to the provisions of the Act of February 5,
1948 (62 stat. 17, 25 U.S.C. §§ 323 -328), for valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, and such consents as required by the above said Federal law having been secured,
hereby grants to THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE, a Public agency of the State of California, and its
successors and assigns, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee ", an easement and right of way for purposes
of:
PUBLIC STREETS & PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
in, over, under, across, along and upon lands located in the County of Riverside, State of California, and
legally described as:
A undivided one -half (112) interest of a portion of the Southeast One Quarter of the Southeast One Quarter
of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 5 East, San Bernardino Base, Meridian. In the County of
Riverside, California, more particularly described as follows:
SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND BY ITS REFERENCE MADE A PART
HEREOF AND
more particularly shown and delineated on the accompanying map, Exhibit "B ", and Incorporated herein
by this reference.
Said easement contains approximately 1.18 acres. This easement is subject to:
(A) Any valid existing right or adverse claim:
(B) The applicable terms and conditions contained in Part 169, Title 25, of the Code of
Federal Regulations, including the agreement in the stipulations filed pursuant to Section
169.5 of that Part.

This easement is without limitations as to tenure and is subject to any valid existing right or
adverse claim so long as said easement shall be actually used for the purpose above specified;
PROVIDED, HOWEVER: That this easement shall be terminable in whole or in part by the
Grantor for an of the following causes upon 34 days' written notice and failure of the Grantee
within said notice period to correct the basis for termination:
(A) Failure to comply with any term of condition of the grant or the applicable
Regulation contained in Part 169, Title 25, of the Code of Federal
Regulations.
(g) A nonuse of the right -of -way for a consecutive two -year period for the
purpose
for which it was granted
(C) An abandonment of the right-of-way;
(D) Failure of the Grantee, upon the completion of construction, to file with
the Grantor an affidavit of completion pursuant to 25 C.F.R. 159.16.
The conditions of this easement shall extend to and be binding upon and shall inure to
the benefit of the heirs, representatives, successors and assigns of the Grantee.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Grantor had first executed this easement of AP 4# Al
2001.
