SUBJECT: Accepting the offers of dedications for portions of Palomar Road, Glencoe
Lane, and Holland Road for public roads and utility purposes and subject to
improvements, into the County Maintained Road System, in the Menifee area, in the
Third Supervisorial District
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Adopt Resolution N0. 2001 -93 accepting the offers of dedications
for public road and utility purposes and subject to improvements, into the County Maintained
Road System.
BACKGROUND: The Developer of Tract No. 29234 and Tract No. 29609 is requesting
the acceptance of these offers of dedication to satisfy their conditions of approval for
access.

4 ACCEPTING PORTIONS OF PALOMAR ROAD, GLENCOE LANE, AND HOLLAND ROAD IN
5 THE MENIFEE AREA FOR PUBLIC USE AND SUBJECT TO IMPROVEMENTS, INTO THE
6 COUNTY MAINTAINED ROAD SYSTEM.

9 WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portions of Palomar Road, Glencoe Lane and
10 Holland Road were offered for dedication for public road and utility purposes by Parcel Map No.
11 11672, recorded in Book 61,Page 90 of Parcel Maps, Parcel Map No. 12598, recorded in Book
12 69, Page 95 of Parcel Maps, and Parcel Map No. 13757, recorded in Book 93, Page 34 of Parcel
13 'Maps, all records of the Recorders Office, Riverside County, California, which offers of dedications
14 have not been accepted for Public use and are not part of the County Maintained Road System,
15 now, therefore;

17 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
18 County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, May 1
19 2001, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication and recognizes that said roads are public
20 roads open for use by the general public:

22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED, that this acceptance is
23 for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public roads
24 and utility uses, and subject to improvements in accordance with county standards, shall be
25 included into the County Maintained Road System pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and
26 Highways Code.

Said roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California and are described as follows:
THIRD SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT
PALOMAR ROAD (See attachments 1, 2, 3 & 4)
Palomar Road, the most northerly 45.35 feet of Lot "F" as dedicated to the County on Parcel Map
11672, recorded in book 61, page 90 of Parcel Maps, the most northerly 44.88 feet of Lot "F" as
dedicated to the County on Parcel Map 11673, recorded in Book 62, Page 21 of Parcel Maps and
Lots "G" and "H" on Parcel Map 13757, recorded in Book 93, Page 34 of Parcel Maps, all records
of the Recorder, Riverside County, California.
GLENCOE LANE (See attachments 2, 3 & 4)
Glencoe Lane, the most easterly 44.89 feet of Lot "I° as dedicated to the County on Parcel Map
13757, recorded in Book 93, Page 34 of Parcel Maps, the most easterly 15.00 feet of Lot °E" as
dedicated to the County on Parcel Map 11672, recorded in Book 61, Page 90 of Parcel Maps and
Lot "E" as dedicated to the County on Parcel Map 11673, recorded in Book 62, Page 21 of Parcel
Maps all records of the Recorder, Riverside County, California.
HOLLAND ROAD (See attachment 3)
Holland Road, dedicated to the County as, Lots "C" through "F ", inclusive, on Parcel Map 13757,
recorded in Book 93, Page 34 of Parcel Maps records of the Recorder, Riverside County,
California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County, California.
