SUBJECT: Summarily vacating the right to accept the dedication of Four Paws Way, in
the Bermuda Dunes area, Fourth Supervisorial District,
RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2001 -134, summarily
vacating the right to accept the dedication of Four Paws Way.
BACKGROUND: Four Paws Way has never been used and is not required for access
for any surrounding properties. A portion of the north boundary of Four Paws Way is
also the south boundary line of Tentative Tract Map 29787. Tentative Tract Map 29787
has been approved to subdivide 5 acres into 19 residential lots and one retention basin
lot. The vacation of Four Paws Way will accommodate the design of the tentative tract
map. No parcels will be landlocked as a result of this vacation.

SUMMARILY VACATING THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT
THE DEDICATION OF FOUR PAWS WAY,
IN THE BERMUDA DUNES AREA

(FOURTH SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, that portion of Four Paws Way was dedicated to the County Parcel Map
12558, recorded in Book 60, Page 26 and 27, inclusive, records of the County Recorder,
Riverside County, California, and,
WHEREAS, the offer of dedication for said Four Paws Way has riot been accepted by
the County of Riverside; and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described Four Paws Way is not necessary and is excess
interest; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
2001, as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 8334(x) of the Streets and Highways Code that the hereinafter
described Four Paws Way is an excess interest that is not required for highway purposes and
is hereby summarily vacated:

7 2. That the herein - described portion of Four Paws Way is unnecessary for present or
8 prospective public use, including use as a non- motorized transportation facility.

10 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
11 Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County
12 Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
