RESOLUTION NO 2001 -161
CHANGE THE NAME OF GROVER ROAD TO COFER ROAD IN THE SAGE AREA OF
RIVERSIDE COUNTY
(THIRD SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a public
hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change the name of
Grover Road between Cimarron Road and East Benton Road as shown on Parcel Map
16482, recorded in Parcel Map Book 109, Pages 31 -35 inclusive, records of the Recorder,
Riverside County, California, in Sections 7, T. 7 S., R. 1 E., S.B.B. & M., Third Supervisorial
District, and all persons having had an opportunity to be heard; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
July 10 , 2001, that the name of Grover Road be changed to Cofer Road.

of Grover Road to Cofer Road. This resolution was approved by the Board of
Supervisors at a public hearing on July 10, 2001. Please update your records to reflect

RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2001 -161, Change the
Name of Grover Road to Cofer Road in the Sage area.
BACKGROUND: There is only one homeowner on Grover Road and he has requested
the change to personalize the street name. The three other property owners abutting
Grover Road have been notified by certified mail and have not responded.
