RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2001 -174, accepting
Byron Street and Dauchy Avenue into the County Maintained Road System.
BACKGROUND: The Transportation Department has improved portions of these roads
to County Standards, Projects were funded through the Economic Developmental
Agency or Developer Agreement Funds.

RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -174
ACCEPTING OFFERS OF DEDICATION FOR A PORTION OF DAUCHY AVENUE IN THE
WOODCREST AREA AND BYRON STREET IN THE MEAD VALLEY AREA, FOR PUBLIC
USE AND INTO THE COUNTY MAINTAINED ROAD SYSTEM.
(First Supervisoriai District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described public roads were offered for dedication for public
road purposes by the maps hereinafter - referred to, which offers of dedications have not been
accepted for public use and have not been accepted into the County Maintained Road System,
I now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the 1
County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, July Lo _ , 2001,
that this Board accepts the offers of dedication and recognizes that said roads are public roads
open for use by the general public and formally accepts them into the County Maintained Road
System;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED, that this acceptance is
for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public road
and utility uses and is an acceptance of the roads into the County Maintained Road System
pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code;
Said roads are in the County of Riverside, State of California, and are described as follows:

That portion of Dauchy Avenue between Van Buren Boulevard and 580' feet southerly to the
current City of Riverside city limits, shown as Lot "A ", on Parcel Map 8799, recorded in Book
39, Page 88, of Parcel Maps and the easterly 30' feet of said Parcel 2 of Parcel Map 8799 as
dedicated by Instrument No. 170511 recorded on 8- 13 -79, all records of the Recorder,
Riverside County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County, California.
