RECOMMENDED MOTION:
That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2001 -226, Summarily Vacating a
portion of abutters rights of access along Palomar Street.
BACKGROUND:
The vacation of this portion of the restricted abutters rights of access
along Palomar Street, is at the request of the property owner, to allow for
the re- location of a residential driveway. The present location of the
driveway is impractical and the owner is re- dedicating the abutters rights
of access in that location. The Transportation Department has no
objection to this vacation.

10 WHEREAS, the restricted abutters rights of access along Palomar Street were
11 dedicated to the County by Parcel Map 10322, on file in Book 49, Page 56, of Parcel Maps,
12 Records of the Recorder of Riverside County, California; and,

14 WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of restricted abutters rights of access
15 is not necessary and is excess interest; now, therefore;

17 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
18 the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on July 17,
19 2001, as follows:

21 1. That the hereinafter- described portion of the restricted abutters rights of access is
22 excess right of way not required for public street and highway purposes, and, pursuant to
23 section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways code, is hereby summarily vacated;

unnecessary for present or prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized
transportation facility.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of the
Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of
the Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
