SUBJECT: Summarily vacating a portion of restricted abutters rights of access along
Via Vaquero, in the Rancho California area, First Supervisorial District,
RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2001 - 58, summarily
vacating a portion of restricted abutters rights of access along Via Vaquero.
BACKGROUND: This vacation of abutters rights of access will provide for driveway in a
an area which is safer because of increased `line of sight'.

SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF RESTRICTED ABUTTERS RIGHTS
OF ACCESS ALONG VIA VAQUERO, IN THE RANCHO CALIFORNIA AREA

(FIRST SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, the restricted abutters rights of access along Via Vaquero was dedicated
to the County by Parcel Map 25142, recorded in Book 166, Pages 52 and 53, inclusive,
records of the County Recorder, Riverside County, California, and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter- described portion of restricted abutters rights of access of
said map is not necessary and is excess interest; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
October 16 , 2001, as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the hereinafter
described restricted abutters rights of access is an excess interest in the named right -of- way
that is not required for highway purposes and is hereby summarily vacated:

The centerline point of a 30 foot access opening onto said Parcel 1, Parcel Map 25 142, more
particularly described as follows:
Being a point on the southerly line of Via Vaquero Road as shown on aforementioned Parcel Map
25142, lying South 82 °54'55" West, 31.00 feet distant therefrom, the northeasterly right of way
corner of said Parcel 1.
