SUBJECT: Summarily vacating the right to accept the dedication of a portion of
Tranquillo Place, in the Bermuda Dunes Area, Fourth Su ervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
That the Board adopt Resolution No. 2000 -93, summarily vacating the
herein described portion of Tranquillo Place.
JUSTIFICATION:
The owner of the adjacent lots, to said Tranquillo Place, has requested the
vacation to more efficiently and effectively accommodate development of
the adjoining properties.

SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF TRANQUILLO PLACE, IN THE BERMUDA
DUNES AREA
(AB -03 -2000)
( FOURTH SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of Tranquillo Place was dedicated to the
County by Tract Map 2565, recorded in book 45, pages 78 through 82 inclusive, of Maps,
records of the Recorders Office, Riverside County, California; and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of Tranquillo Place is excess right -of -way
and not required for public street or highway purposes, and this vacation will not eliminate
access to any parcels; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled
on _ April 11 , 2000, as follows:
1. That the hereinafter- described portion of Tranquillo Place is excess right -of -way not
required for public streets and highway purposes, and pursuant to section 8334(a) of the
Streets and Highway Code, the offers of dedication to the public are hereby summarily
vacated:

3 Said road is in the County of Riverside, State of California, and is described as follows:

5 TRANQUILLO PLACE: As shown on attached exhibit W and "B"

7 EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing public
8 utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate, replace,
9 remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and Highway Code.

11 2. That the hereinabove- described portion of Tranquillo Place is unnecessary for
12 present or prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized transportation facility.

14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
15 Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
16 Recorder of Riverside County, California.
