SUBJECT: Accepting offers of dedication for portions of Dauchy Avenue for public road
and utility purposes, in the Woodcrest area, First Supervisorial District.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2000 -237 accepting the offers of dedication for public
road and utility purposes.
JUSTIFICATION:
The residents that reside adjacent to Dauchy Avenue have raised sufficient
funds to retain the County Transportation Department to pave said street. It is
necessary to accept the original dedication to provide sufficient Right -of- Way
to accomplish the project.

4 ACCEPTING OFFERS OF DEDICATION FOR PORTIONS OF DAUCHY AVENUE FOR
5 PUBLIC ROAD AND UTILITY PURPOSES, IN THE WOODCREST AREA
6 (First Supervisorial District)

8 WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portions of Dauchy Avenue were offered for
9 dedication for public road purposes by the map of Olive Grove Park on file in Map Book 12 Page
10 61, which have not previously been accepted by the County, now, therefore;

12 BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
13 County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on, August 29 ,
14 2000, that this Board accepts the offers of dedication and recognizes that said road is a public
15 road open for use by the general public:

17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED, that this acceptance is
18 for the purpose of vesting title in the County of Riverside on behalf of the public for public road
19 and utility uses and is not an acceptance of the road into the County Maintained Road System
20 pursuant to Section 941 of the Streets and Highways Code, said road will not become part of the
21 County Maintained Road System unless subsequently accepted into said Maintained Road
22 System by a resolution adopted by this Board;
