JUSTIFICATION:
The Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship applied for a public use permit, Case No.
PUP 798, in order to expand their current church site. They wish to incorporate the
vacated right -of -way of that portion of Bucharest Lane into their facility. The
Conditions of Approval, for PUP #798, call for the dedication of a standard cul -de-
sac along Bucharest Lane and the vacation of that portion of Bucharest Lane lying
outside and beyond that dedication.
The cul -de -sac along Bucharest Lane has been dedicated and this vacation of that
portion of Bucharest Lane will complete and satisfy the conditions as set forth by
PUP #798.There will be no parcels landlocked as sult of this vacation.

SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF BUCHAREST LANE
IN THE TEMECULA AREA

(THIRD SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portion of Bucharest Lane was offered
for dedication for public road purposes by Declaration of Dedication, recorded May 21, 1987
as Instrument Number 143562, and was accepted for the purpose of vesting title in the County
of Riverside on behalf of the public by Acceptance of Dedication, recorded November 3, 1994
as Instrument Number 421172, Records of the County Recorder, Riverside County,
California; and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Bucharest Lane is not necessary and
is excess interest; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
August 29 , 2000, as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code that the hereinafter
described portion of Bucharest Lane is an excess interest not required for highway purposes
and is hereby summarily vacated:

2. That the herein- described portion of Bucharest Lane is unnecessary for present or
9
prospective public use, including use as a non - motorized transportation facility.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this

Board shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County

Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
