Change the name of Pico Street to Winchester Way, in the Woodcrest
Area, First Supervisorial District
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
That the Board adopt Resolution No. 99 -044, change the name of Pico
Street to Winchester Way, in the Woodcrest Area.
JUSTIFICATION:
The eight situs' along Pico Street are addressed as Winchester Way. This
name change will allow Winchester Way to be officially recognized and
entered into the County Street Name System. The affected property
owners have been contacted and are in favor of this name change.

CHANGE THE NAME OF
PICO STREET TO WINCHESTER WAY
IN THE WOODCREST AREA
(FIRST SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, a public
hearing after due notice has been held upon a resolution of intention to change the name of
Pico Street, from the westerly extension of Hermosa Street to Gentian Avenue, in a portion of
Section 19, T.3S., R.4W., First Supervisorial District, and all persons having had an opportunity
to be heard; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Riverside State of California, in regular session assembled on June 15
1999, that the name of Pico Street be changed to Winchester Way.
