SUBJECT: Summarily vacating portions of Pourroy Road and Promontory Parkway, in

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
That the Board adopt Resolution No. 99 -061, summarily vacating portions of
Pourroy Road and Promontory Parkway.
JUSTIFICATION:
These portions of Pourroy Road and Promontory Parkway are being vacated
in conjunction with Tentative Tract Map 28 3 and have been realigned to
avoid an environmentally sensitive area la ll a!s) .

SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF POURROY ROAD AND
A PORTION OF PROMONTORY PARKWAY
IN THE TEMECULA AREA

(Third Supervisorial District)
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described Pourroy Road (100.00 feet wide) and a
portion of Promontory Parkway (80.00 feet wide) were dedicated for public road and utility
uses by Tract Map 25619 -1 on file in book 221, pages 63 through 74, inclusive, records of
the Recorder, Riverside County, California
WHEREAS, the hereinafter - described portion of Pourroy Road and a portion of
Promontory Parkway are excess right -of -way and are not required for public street or
highway purposes; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on Sept. 7 ,
1999 as follows:
1. That the hereinafter - described portion of Pourroy Road and a portion of
Promontory Parkway are no longer required for public street and highway purposes and
are, pursuant to Section 8334(a) of the Streets and Highways Code, hereby summarily
vacated:

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING from the vacation an easement for any existing
public utilities and public service facilities, together with the right to maintain, operate,
replace, remove, or renew such facilities, pursuant to section 8340 of the Streets and
Highway Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of the
Board is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of
the Recorder of the County of Riverside, Califomia.
