This plat represents a retracement and reestablish-
ment of the south and east boundaries and subdivi-
sional lines designed to restore the corners there-
of in their original positions according to the best
available evidence; and, the survey of accretion
lands not included in previous surveys. Channeli-
zation of the Colorado River by the Comer and Casad
Cuts in 1923 -24, has, in effect, placed portions of
the originally s•arveyed lands and accreted .Lands on
the westerly side of the river's present position. _
In those portions the considered positions of the
left bank of the river as of the time of the channel-
izations have been reo..tablA shed as fixed and limit-
ing boundaries as shown by the lines with numbered
angle poinP.s.
The original survt:ys were executed by William B.
Kimmel, U. S. Surveyor, in 1916 -17, as shown upon
th- >f('icial plat approved March 20, 1918. Except
as new subdivisions are shown hereor:, the lottings
and areas are as shown upon y,., original plat.
These surveys were executed by Robert S. Kaiser and
Donald A. Cannon, Cadastral Surveyors, from February
27, 1961, to Man,h 27, L9 and, by Leonard W. Murphy,
Surveying Technician, from December 11, 1961, to
January 12, L962, pursuant. !;o special instructions
dated September 15, 1960, and supplemental special
instructions dated .January 16, 1961 and October 27,
1961, for Group 355•
