This plat represents a retracement and reestab-
lishment of a portion of the so,tth boundary and
a portion o£ the subdivi::ional lines designed to
restore the corners thereof In their original
position:. according to the best available evi-
dence, and, the survey of accretion lands not
included in previous surveys. Channeiization
of the Colorado River by the Raab Cut in 1923 -24,
has, in effect, placed a portion of those ac-
creted lands on the westerly side of the river's
present position. In that portion the consider -
ered position of the left bank of the river as
of the time of channelization has been reestab-
lished as a fixed and limiting boundary as shown
by the line with numbered angle points.
The original surveys were executed by William B.
Kimmel, U. S. Surveyor, in 1916 -17, as shown up-
on the official plat approved March 20, 1918. .
Except as new :subdivisions are shown herein, the
lottings and areas are ae shown upon the original
P1 at .
These survey:. were executed by Floyd A. Brooks
and William W. Glenn, Cadastr,Ll Surveyors, from.
March 1 to 9, 1961, und, by Leonard W. Murphy,
Surveying Technician, from November 13 to 24,
1961., pur::uant to special instructions dated

structions dated October 27, 1961, for Group
