This plat represents a correction survey of accretion
lands within section 36 and their division between
vested and public land interests therein.
The original surveys were executed by 0. P. Calloway,
in 1874, and by W. F. Benson, in 1879, as shown upon
the plat approved May 22, 1879. The sections adjoining
the right bank of the Colorado River, as originally
surveyed, and the adjusted record meander line of the
right bank, were resurveyed by Leland P. Lewis, Cadas-
tral Surveyor, under Group 445, as shown upon the plat
accepted July 22, 1958. The accretion land fronting
the township was surveyed by Harold D. Corbin, Cadas-
tral Surveyor, under Group 459, as shown upon the plat
accepted May 21, 1962. These latter surveys, as they
affected lands within section 36, were suspended by
memorandum dated January 27, 1964 (6.05a, Group 459,
California), in conformance with the opinion of the
Associate Solicitor dated January 6, 1964 (J -61 -2003
.10).
Except as new areas are shown hereon, the lottings and
areas are as shown upon the plats referred to.
These surveys were executed by Donald A. Cannon, Cadas-
tral Surveyor, from April 23 to May 5, 1964, pursuant
to Special Instructions dated March 25,1964, for Group
No. 459.
